按照《中信鈮鋼科技發展獎獎勵條例》及其實施細則和評審辦法，中信鈮鋼優秀論文獎評審委員會于11月10日在北京組織召開2022年中信鈮鋼優秀論文獎終評會，對入圍的文章進行最終評審。本次優秀論文獎候選文章囊括了2020和2021兩個自然年度中國學者作為第一作者公開發表的中文或者英文文章。總計檢索到候選文章800篇，其中中文文章385篇，英文文章415篇。最終評選出一等獎一項，二等獎兩項，三等獎三項，優秀獎六項。評選結果詳見附表。
自2001年設立中信鈮鋼優秀論文獎以來，中信鈮鋼優秀論文獎影響力逐步提高。2008年，該獎項被納入中信鈮鋼科技發展獎，屬國家科學技術獎勵系列中社會力量設立的科學技術獎勵，其規范性和影響力進一步提高。截至2021年，共有113篇優秀論文獲得這一獎項，對推動我國含鈮鋼開發及應用技術的發展起到了顯著的作用，獲得了鋼鐵行業、科研院所以及下游應用領域的廣泛認可。
