Founded in Beijing in 2003, China Platinum Corporation Co.,  Ltd.  (“China  Platinum”)  is  the  largest  platinum importer in China, and engages in trading of gold and other precious metals besides platinum. CITIC Metal acquired 52% equity stake of China Platinum in 2004, and now holds 20% equity stake in it.

 

For the purpose of business diversification, China Plat- inum established Shanghai Jintanglian Metal Limited in Shanghai Free Trade Zone in 2016 through joint invest- ment, to conduct businesses of precious metal trading and leasing, and contract processing.
